Moses started his working career as a Clerical Officer with The Gate-Way Insurance Company Limited and rose through the ranks to the post of Assistant Superintendent (Reinsurance) between 1986 and 1999.
He joined the service of the Federal Polytechnic Bida 1999 as a Higher Instructor and rose to through promotion to the status of Principal Instructor I on CONTISS 11. While in the polytechnic, he taught Insurance, Computer Science and Research Methods in the Departments of Accounting and Banking & Finance. He was at various times Assistant Examination Officer and Substantive Examination Officer for 8 years. He joined the service of the University of Ilorin in 2009 as Assistant Chief Executive Officer and Pension Desk Officer of the University. He was promoted to the rank of Chief Executive Officer in 2013 and converted laterally as Principal Assistant Registrar in 2019. He is currently a Deputy Registrar.

• Higher Diploma in Public Administration – Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin (1995)
• Higher National Diploma (HND) Insurance – Federal Polytechnic, Offa (1998)
• B.Sc. Business Administration Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti (2014)
• Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science – Federal University of Technology Minna (2003)
• MBA (2009) & M.Sc (2019) in Business Administration from University of Ilorin, Ilorin
He is a member of the following professional bodies:
• Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN), 2000
• Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of management (AMNIM) 2002
• Associate of Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (ACIB), 2012
• Association of the Nigerian Universities professional Administrator (ANUPA) 2019
He is the author of two books published: first Edition 2004, Second 2008

M. A. Opaleke is prolific writer who has contributed articles in journals and presented various papers at seminars to show case his practical experience, and blending it with a solid theoretical of the subject. Read and published many articles in journals like Nigeria Journal of Arts, Science and Technology (NIJASAT), Bida Journal of Management and Technology (BIJOMAT) and Environmental Watch to mention a few
He served as a member of Committee on Staff Record Audit and Subsequently Chairman of Senior Staff on Staff Records. He served in various committees in the university in different capacity as member, secretary and Chairman.
He has attended seminars, workshops and conferences both locally and internationally, including ASCON in 2015, 2019, UAE in 2015 and Germany in 2020
He was elected as the North Central Zone Chairman/ Deputy National Chairman of the Forum of Pension Desk Officers of Federal MDAs with effect from 1st August, 2021 for two year tenure.
He is married and blessed with children.
