Olorunshola bags CVSN Fellowship

The College of Veterinary Surgeons Nigeria (CVSN) has conferred its Fellowship award on a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ilorin, Dr Isaac Dayo Olorunshola.

               A letter of award, signed by Dr Helen Chime Ego Oputa, the Interim College Secretary, stated that Dr Olorunshola’s Fellowship award follows his successful completion of the professional postgraduate programme in the Faculty of Pathology of the College.

The letter stated, “This is to inform you that you have successfully completed the Fellowship programme in the Pathology Faculty of the College of Veterinary Surgeons Nigeria. And having satisfied all the requirements, you have been awarded Fellow of the College of Veterinary Surgeons, Nigeria (FCVSN) in Microbiology with effect from 17 November, 2023”.

The Interim College Secretary further confirmed that Dr Olorunshola was admitted into the Fellow class in the Faculty of Pathology in 2018 and completed the programme in 2023, passing all seven required courses within the three years allotted for the programme.

In a formal communication to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, Dr Olorunshola expressed appreciation for the permission granted him to attend the part-time professional training.

Dr Olorunshola’s achievement marks a significant milestone in his professional journey and reflects the University’s commitment to staff development through continuous academic advancement.
