UNILORIN LABTOP organises maiden industrial summit Thursday

As a part of activities heralding the 50th anniversary celebration of the University of Ilorin, the Centre for Laboratory to Products (LABTOP) has concluded arrangements to hold its maiden industrial two-day summit between Thursday, May 29 and Friday, May 2025 at the Multipurpose Hall of the University beginning at 9:00am.

A statement signed by the Director of LABTOP, Prof. Muhammad Jimoh Saka, said that the opening ceremony of the summit, themed “Promoting Indigenous Technologies for National Development And Harnessing Commercial Potentials of Innovations”, will hold with the Chairman/Technical Adviser, LUBCON Industries Limited, Ilorin, Alhaji Jani Ibrahim, as the Keynote Speaker; while the University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, would be the Chief Host.

The summit, according to Prof. Saka, will also witness research products exhibition, students colloquium and panel discussions on related issues.

Prof. Saka enjoined guests and participants to be seated by 8:30 am.
