We are not owing our students NELFUND loan-Egbewole

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, has said that the University does not owe any of its deserving students any loan payable to them from the Nigerian Education Loans Fund (NELFUND).

Prof. Egbewole made the declaration recently in a short video clip shared on the network of UNILORIN TV.

The Vice Chancellor, who is also a member of the Nigerian Body of Benchers, explained that every student who benefited from the loan had been paid except those who have not provided the account details they submitted to the NELFUND.

“As a University, we have our processes, our systems and our procedures that are already laid down”, Prof. Egbewole declared.

The Vice Chancellor congratulated the graduating students of the University for successfully completing their various academic programmes.

He also commended other students on the conclusion of the Rain Semester examinations as he wished them a very peaceful end of session holiday.
