Mr Kuti, a graduate of the Department of Human Kinetics, Faculty of Education of the University, was appointed following a meeting of the Federation’s Executive Board.

In a letter signed by the GFN President, Prince Kelvin Erhunwunse, the Federation said the appointment followed a thorough assessment of Mr Kuti’s records, dedication and contributions to the growth of sports.

“The Board unanimously approved his appointment as Head of the Media Department of the Gymnastics Federation of Nigeria,” he said.

The Federation, therefore, congratulated Kuti on the “well-deserved appointment” and expressed hope that the new responsibility would further motivate him to demonstrate greater dedication to his duties.

It also charged him to contribute to taking gymnastics in Nigeria “to the next level.”
