UNILORIN Alumni Spotlight is on Oyathelemhi O. Richard – Class of 2004!

Engr. Oyathelemhi Osikhena Richard is a distinguished engineering professional, registered with the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). He is specialised in industrial weighing, marking, and coding solutions. 

As the MD/CEO of Rio-Weighing Systems and Rio-Manufacturing, he has steered the companies to remarkable success, earning prestigious recognitions, including Fastest Growing 100 Companies in Nigeria (2022) by BusinessDay and Best World-Class Weighing Metrology Company of the Year (2022) by the West Africa Quality Association.

Beyond his entrepreneurial achievements, he is a member of the Harvard Business Review (HBR) Advisory Council, contributing to global business insights. A proud alumnus of the University of Ilorin and Lagos Business School, Engr. Richard continues to make significant strides in the engineering and manufacturing sectors.
