Ibrahim Ajadi is a Plant Biologist, researcher, and Lecturer at Kwara State University, Malete. He obtained his BSc in Plant Biology with First-Class Honours and MSc in Plant Biology with Distinction, specialising in Plant Pathology, from the University of Ilorin. He is currently a PhD candidate in Plant Biology at the University of Ilorin.

His work covers plant pathology, mycology, soil microbiology, microbial ecology, and plant-microbe interactions. He has worked on the rhizospheres of rice and sorghum, studying fungal and bacterial communities using molecular and metagenomic approaches.

He has authored and co-authored over 25 peer-reviewed publications, including articles in Scopus-indexed journals. His research has also contributed fungal and bacterial DNA sequences deposited in GenBank and sequence data submitted to the SRA.

He enjoys teaching and mentoring students, and continues to advance his research in plant health, microbial communities, and their application to crop production.
