UNILORIN alumna elected USTECH Deputy Vice Chancellor

An alumna of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Foyeke Ibimilua, has been elected Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and Research) of the University of Science and Technology (USTECH), Ikere-Ekiti.
Prof. Ibimilua, who graduated from the Department of Geography, University of Ilorin, in 1997, has established herself as a distinguished academic and administrator.
Her election to the position follows her distinguished tenure as Dean of the School of Social Sciences, where she demonstrated exemplary leadership, academic excellence, integrity, innovation and a strong commitment to the advancement of teaching, learning and research.
Her emergence as Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and Research) is a recognition of her proven competence, visionary leadership and commitment to institutional development.
A congratulatory message celebrating her election described the elevation as a well-deserved recognition of her accomplishments and prayed for greater wisdom, strength and divine guidance as she assumes the new responsibility.
It further expressed optimism that her tenure would bring unprecedented academic advancement, groundbreaking research and greater impact to USTECH, the academic community and beyond.
