The new Director of the Centre for Management and Leadership, Ilorin (CMLI), Prof. Nimah Modupe Abdulraheem, has assured the management of the University and other stakeholders that her tenure would witness a remarkable improvement in service delivery.

Prof. Abdulraheem, who is also the immediate past Dean of the Faculty of Law, gave this assurance last Wednesday (August 12, 2026) while taking-over the mantle of leadership of the Centre from its former Ag. Director, Dr. Adeola Aminat Odebode.

The Professor of Law assured the University management that she would mobilise available human and material resources to ensure that the Centre becomes a beehive of activities and pride of the University.

Prof. Abdulraheem encouraged staff members of the Centre to renew their commitment as she assured them that she would operate a no-door policy.

The new Director, who is also a former Head of the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law, commended her predecessor for laying a very solid foundation for the Centre as she assured her that her tenure would build on the legacy of hardwork left behind by Dr Odebode.

Earlier in her remarks, the former Director congratulated Prof. Abdulraheem on her appointment.

Dr Odebode said that she was very delighted to hand over the leadership of the Centre to a tireless, erudite and hardworking woman who has also carved a niche for herself in the annals of the University and its host community.

The event was witnessed by the new Deputy Director of the Centre, Dr. Wasiu Mayowa Raheem; and other staff members of the Centre.
