ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR: B. Ed. Adult Education Studies

Admission could be obtained either through UTME into the four-year programme or by Direct Entry into the three – year programme.  Candidates for admission through UTME must have Credit passes in not more than two sittings in the SSCE or equivalent examinations in at least five subjects including English Language, Mathematics and the subject proposed to be studied with education.  They must also pass the Universities and Tertiary Institutions Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by JAMB, at which the subject proposed to be studied as teaching subject with Education must have been offered.  For admission by Direct Entry, candidates must have passed at the NCE Level in Adult Education or other subjects proposed to be studied and must have credit level passes in English, Mathematics and any three other subjects at the SSCE or equivalent examinations, all at not more than two sittings.
