Baba bags Kwara NIESV award

A Deputy Director at the Works Department, University of Ilorin, Dr Bolakale Sahid Baba, was last Tuesday (August 4, 2026) honoured for his meritorious services to the Estate Management profession by the Kwara State Chapter of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV).

Dr Baba, who is also the University Estate Officer, was honoured along with some other deserving members of the Institution.

The event was one of the highlights of the Annual General Meeting of NIESV held in Ilorin.

Speaking to UNILORIN Bulletin after the event, Dr Baba, who is also the Secretary of the Forum of Elders/Board of Fellows of the Kwara State Branch of the NIESV, expressed profound gratitude to the body for the honour granted to him.

Dr Baba also thanked the authorities of the University for the privilege given to him to serve the body at such a high level.
