AMBALI FAMILY APPRECIATES UNILORIN MANAGEMENT

Responding to the outpouring of tributes on behalf of the Ambali family, the daughter of the late don, Dr Asmau Ambali-Belgore, expressed profound appreciation to the University of Ilorin management for convening the Special Senate session in honour of her late father.
She described the gesture as a remarkable demonstration of love, respect and recognition for a man who devoted a significant part of his life to the service and advancement of the University.
Dr Ambali-Belgore said the family was deeply touched by the overwhelming tributes, prayers and kind words shared by members of the University community and other well-wishers, adding that the testimonies presented during the Special Senate session reaffirmed the enduring impact of the late academic on countless lives and highlighted the values of excellence, integrity and selfless service for which he was widely known.
While acknowledging the pain of the family’s loss, she noted that the outpour of support had provided comfort and strength during the difficult period.
Dr Ambali-Belgore, who was visibly overwhelmed by emotion, prayed to Almighty Allah to abundantly reward all those who contributed to the success of the event, forgive the shortcomings of the late Prof. Ambali, and grant him Aljanah Firdaus.
