Abioje commends Jawondo on quality service delivery

A Professor at the Comparative Religion Unit of the Department of Religions, University of Ilorin, Pius O. Abioje, has commended the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Ibrahim Abdulganiyu Jawondo, for working tirelessly towards ensuring the positive transformation of the Faculty.
Prof. Abioje gave this commendation last Tuesday (August 11, 2026) while speaking at the Board Meeting of the Faculty.
The don said that he was always amazed with the way the Dean had been going about to get amenities for the Faculty.
He explained that through the ingenuity of the Dean, solar light facility was provided for the Faculty Building while the Boardroom was also not left out of the positive transformation.
Prof. Abioje, who is also a public affairs analyst, said that about a week ago, when he entered the Faculty Building he could not recognise the Security Office because of the face-lift it has undergone.
He similarly commended Prof. Jawondo for facilitating the provision of a new set of furniture for the Board Room as he said that the professorial building at the Faculty is also wearing a new look courtesy of the efforts of the Dean.
He equally thanked the Dean for ensuring ongoing facelift of the Language laboratory as he also praised him for working towards ensuring that every programme in the Faculty passes accreditation by the National Universities Commission and other relevant bodies.
While commending the Dean for using every opportunity to interact positively with the Vice Chancellor, Prof Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, Prof. Abioje also appreciated the Vice Chancellor for being highly supportive of the developmental agenda of the Dean.
