AbdulRahman emerges LCMCS’s President

A Chief Nursing Officer at the University Health Services, Dr Aishat Funmilayo AbdulRahman, has emerged as the new President of the LifeCare Multipurpose Cooperative Society (LCMCS).

The election of Dr AbdulRahman was the highlight of the Annual General Meeting of the Society, which held last Wednesday (September 2, 2026) at the Union Cooperative Secretariat.

Dr AbdulRahman, who recently completed her doctorate degree in Health Education at the University, succeeded another Chief Nursing Officer, Mrs Rosemary Ronke Olusegun.

Speaking after her emergence, Dr AbdulRahman expressed her profound gratitude to members of the Society for the confidence reposed in her.

She assured members that she and other members of the executive committee of the Society would spare no effort at ensuring the growth and development of the Society as she also assured them of efficient service delivery and transparency.

The new President, who said the membership of the Society is not restricted to only staff members of the Clinic, enjoined staff of other units to enjoy the Society for better service delivery.
