Engr. Dr. ABDULRAHMAN, A. Yusuf obtained B. Eng. and M. Eng. degrees in Electrical Engineering from University of Ilorin, Nigeria in 1999 and 2005 respectively; and a Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru, Malaysia in 2012, with specialization in Telecommunications Engineering. His research interests include Wireless Mobile Systems, Antenna Measurement and Testing, Radio Propagation, Wet Antenna Measurement, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Rain Rate and Attenuation Statistics, especially in the tropics. He has over nineteen (19) years of teaching and research experience at university level; and he has been teaching and supervising students at postgraduate levels (Master’s and Ph. D) for over eight (8) years. He was the Faculty of Engineering & Technology (FET) Postgraduate Programme (Ph.D) Coordinator between 2016 & 2019.

Dr. Abdulrahman is a member of Professional Bodies such as Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE) and Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (MIEEE), Antenna & Propagation Society. He is registered with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). He has attended a few workshops on Computer Simulation Technology (CST) which include Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Computational Electromagnetics and 3D Radiation Pattern Simulation all in Singapore. He received the International Doctoral Fellowship (IDF), UTM, Malaysia in 2011 and an Award of the Best Ph.D Researcher with the Highest Number of Publications in ISI-indexed Journals, Wireless Communication Centre (WCC), UTM, Malaysia in 2012. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at WCC, UTM, Malaysia between 2012 & 2014.
