Yahaya, UNILORIN Law Librarian, elected Kwara NLA Secretary,

The Law Librarian, University of Ilorin, Mr Ibrahim Olanrewaju Yahaya, has been elected as the Secretary of the Kwara State Branch of the Nigerian Librarian Association (NLA).
The election of Mr Yahaya was one of the highlights of the recent Annual General Meeting of the Kwara State NLA, which took place at Federal Polytechnic, Offa.
Others who were elected are Dr Bello Lateef Alhaji, Chairman; Mr Joel O. Afolayan, Vice Chairman; Mrs. Temim Fatimoh Modupe, Treasurer, and Mahammuod Sulyman Olaitan, Financial Secretary.
Also elected are Mr Saadu Yusuf Olanrewaju, Assistant Secretary; Mr Dere Abiodun, Public Relations Officer; and Dr Florence O. Ajani, ex-officio.
Speaking with UNILORIN Bulletin on his election, Mr Yahaya said that it is an opportunity for him to exert the characteristic probity and learning of the University of Ilorin on the Association.
The Law Librarian, who thanked the authorities of the University for the opportunity given to him to interact with his colleagues from all over the state, specially thanked the University Librarian, Prof. Kamaldeen Tunde Omopupa, for the vital role he played, which ensured his emergence as the Chief Scribe of the Kwara State NLA.
