UNILORIN QAU honours three students for exemplary conduct

The Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) of the University of Ilorin has honoured three students of the institution’s Department of Industrial Relations and Personnel Management for their early-morning voluntary effort in cleaning their classrooms and Department surroundings.

The honourees are Jesulayomi Ayomide Odedina, Kemei Timothy and Balikis Saheed. While the first two are in their final year, the last of the trio is a 200 level student.

Speaking on the issue, the Director of the Unit, Prof. AbdulRazzaq Abdulmajeed Alaro, mni, said that the honour was granted to celebate the trio for exhibiting an uncommon positive disposition.

The cleric-don commended the trio for displaying a fascinating conduct, saying that their decision to keep their classroom and Department clean is worthy of emulation.

Prof. Alaro, who is a former Head, Department of Islamic Law, said that the Unit would not only continue to monitor and encourage compliance to quality assurance across the facets of the University but would also ensure that staff and students of the University who prioritise and exhibit quality service delivery would be honoured to stimulate similar tendencies in others.
