The Management of the University of Ilorin has commended the Senior Advisor, Geological and Minerals Information, African Mineral Development Centre (AMDC), Abuja, Alhaji Muritala Tunde Arisekola, for donating a 10.2 KW solar panel inverter system valued at ₦5,500,000 to the Department of Geology and Mineral Sciences.

            This commendation was contained in a letter of appreciation addressed to Alhaji Arisekola and dated August 18, 2025.

            In the letter, signed by the Registrar, Mr Mansur Adeleke Alfanla, the University described Alhaji Arisekola as an esteemed alumnus and UNILORIN Ambassador who deserves to be commended for supporting the growth and development of the Department and the University as a whole.

            While thanking Alhaji Arisekola for what he described as an invaluable gesture, the Registrar said that his donation will greatly enhance the operational efficiency and sustainability of the activities of the Department.
