UNILORIN launches Tech Innovation Challenge 2025

The Department of Telecommunication Science, University of Ilorin, has announced the launch of the Tech Innovation Challenge 2025 (TIC2025), a cutting-edge competition designed to unleash the creative potential of its students.

The challenge, which is open to all UNILORIN students, invites participants to form teams of one to three members and develop innovative solutions to real-world problems using emerging technologies. The focus areas for the competition include Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity & Forensics, Blockchain Technology, Internet of Things (IoT), and Networking & IT Solutions.

The winning team will receive a cash prize of up to ₦500,000 at the grand finale and award ceremony of the competition scheduled for May 21, 2025.

Registration for the competition opened last Monday (March 24, 2025) and closes on April 4, 2025.
