UNILORIN Holdings charts new course for growth, accountability, institutional expansion

The University of Ilorin Holdings Limited has said that its creation marked a significant milestone in the history of the University.
Speaking at its inaugural general meeting, held penultimate Saturday (January 10, 2026), the Managing Director of the Holdings, Prof. Bashiru Raji, commended the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole,SAN, and the entire management team for their vision and dedication in bringing the company into full operation.
The Managing Director recalled that although UNILORIN Holdings Limited was incorporated in 1984, its active operations effectively began in 2023, describing the development as a historic turning point.
Presenting the company’s key performance indicators, the Managing Director stressed the importance of impact-driven service, transparency, accountability, and collective responsibility.
He urged staff to align their duties with the organisation’s strategic objectives and to play active roles in advancing its growth and sustainability.
In their seperate remarks, members of staff in their numbers expressed strong support for the management, pledging commitment to teamwork and dedication towards the realisation of the company’s goals and long-term vision.
The maiden general meeting, therefore, set a positive tone for the future of UNILORIN Holdings Limited, reinforcing a shared sense of purpose and laying a solid foundation for sustained progress.
