UNILORIN hails MOAF for instituting scholarship

The management of the University of Ilorin has expressed profound gratitude to the Michael Olatokunboh Alubankudi Foundation (MOAF) for establishing an annual scholarship award of N250,000 each for three outstanding undergraduate students of the Department of Information Technology.
The Registrar of the University, Mr Mansur Adeleke Alfanla, in a letter addressed to the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Foundation, Mr Adedotun Oluyemisi, said, “The University greatly appreciates the Foundation’s generous initiative to promote excellence in Information Technology education. Such contribution towards academic development is highly commendable and valued”.
According to the Registrar, the scholarship programme will be awarded to three best-performing undergraduate students of the Department with each recipient receiving N250,000 annually.
The University Management also expressed its condolences on the passing of Mr Michael Olatokunboh Alubankudi, in whose memory the Foundation was established.
The institution noted that it looks forward to the successful implementation of the scholarship award as part of efforts to encourage academic excellence among students.
