The death has been announced of a Professor at the Department of Zoology, University of Ilorin, Prof. Mashood  Keke Mustapha.

Prof. Mustapha passed on last Thursday (October 30, 2025) at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH), Oke-Oyi, after a brief illness.

The Janazah prayer and burial were performed last Friday (October 31, 2025) at the Muslim Cemetery, Oko Olowo, along New Jebba Road, Ilorin.
