UNILORIN Alumni Spotlight is on Folorunso Fatai Adisa – Class of 2019!

Folorunso Fatai Adisa is a communications professional, columnist, and public intellectual whose work bridges language, governance, and social change. He holds a Diploma in Mass Communication, a BA (Hons) in English from the University of Ilorin, and a Master’s in Media and Communication from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom, integrating scholarly depth with practical expertise to shape public discourse.

He has worked across public relations, broadcast journalism, and health communications, including roles at Black House Media, RayPower FM, NHS Glasgow, and Glasgow Alcohol and Drugs Crisis Service. In each space, he has built a reputation for turning complex issues into stories that resonate widely.

As a columnist with Nigeria’s most widely read newspaper, his essays reach millions weekly, interrogating power and igniting dialogue on justice, governance, and nationhood. His style marries literary elegance with critical precision, carrying the urgency of a voice tuned to the demands of today’s Nigeria.
