UNILORIN Alumni Spotlight is on Augustina Olajumoke Ojo – Class of 1988!

Augustina Olajumoke Ojo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture (with a specialisation in Crop Production) from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, which she completed in 1988.

Born in Osogbo, Osun State, and raised in Kaduna, Augustina’s educational journey began at Baptist High School in Ogbomoso. She furthered her studies in general agricultural sciences at the Lagos State College of Science and Technology, School of Agriculture in Ikorodu. Following her internship at the Army Resettlement Centre in Oshodi, she worked at Hamada Agricultural Company in Funtua and Marabaya, playing a key role in establishing farms owned by the late General Shehu Yar’Adua.

After relocating abroad, Augustina transitioned into medical practice. She is currently a Medical Director of Psychiatry at BTSTServices, LLC, in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Additionally, she serves as Medical Director at Upscale Healthcare Services, LLC, and Associate Healthcare Services, LLC, both in Owings Mills, Maryland.

Augustina holds a doctorate in advanced practice nursing, specialising in adult and geriatric care, as well as psychiatry across the lifespan. She is board-certified in these areas, demonstrating her expertise in delivering high-quality patient care.
