Andrew Adewale ALOLA (PhD) is an Associate Professor of Sustainability at Centre for Research on digitalization and Sustainability (CREDS), University of Inland Norway, Norway. He completed his undergraduate degree (with BSc. Mathematics) at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. Thereafter, he proceeded to earn MSc in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science and PhD in Economics both from Eastern Mediterranean University, Cyprus.
With Dr. Andrew’s interest in sustainability aspects, including energy and environmental economics, life cycle assessment, and other related SDGs areas, he is currently ranked 6th among scholars in Norway based on scientific publications (see here:https://www.khrono.no/
As an international facilitator, Dr. Andrew participated in the World Bank project coordinated by Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi, Nigeria. The list of his international engagements includes full time faculty position as Assistant Professor previously at University of Vaasa in Finland, Nisantasi University and Istanbul Gelisim University, both in Turkey. He has also had successful research collaboration activities with University of Johannesburg in South Africa, South Ural State University in Russia, Applied Science Private University in Jordan, and Lebanese American University in Lebanon.
