A team of University of Ilorin graduates currently undergoing their compulsory national service in Oyo State have donated ₦109,000 towards the construction of a 5,000-capacity auditorium in the camp where they just completed their orientation.
The donation was led by Joseph Ologundudu, immediate past Students’ Union President of the University of Ilorin, and representatives from various Faculties, including Jeremiah Alabi, Fatimah Yunusa, Samiat Muhammed, Adebayo Kolawole, Tawakalitu Aliu, and Bukola Olanrewaju.
The State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Comrade Odoba Abel Oche, expressed gratitude to the donors, emphasising that the corps members have the power to effect change.
Comrade Oche added that this initiative reflects the altruistic spirit of UNILORIN alumni and their commitment to making a positive impact.
