An alumna of the University of Ilorin, Mrs Madinat Adigun-Oladotun, has been appointed as the new Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA). The appointment was ratified at the just concluded 65th Annual General Meeting and Conference of NACCIMA, which took place in Ilorin.
Mrs Adigun-Oladotun’s appointment came as part of a broader leadership transition led by the newly inaugurated National President, Engr Jani Ibrahim, mni, OON, a respected industrialist and business leader.
A communications strategist, brand consultant, and serial entrepreneur, Mrs Adigun-Oladotun brings decades of professional experience to the role as her appointment is viewed as a strategic move to revitalise NACCIMA’s public image and enhance its communication strategies with members, the government, and the general public.
Mrs Adigun-Oladotun, who earned her Master’s degree in Mass Communication from the University of Ilorin, is a certified member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), and the Advertising Practitioners Association (APA).
Prior to her appointment, she was the Managing Director of Trendsville Media Limited, a leading PR and communications firm with a presence in Ilorin, Abuja, and Lagos.
Her track record within the Chamber includes her role as former Public Relations Officer of the Kwara Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KWACCIMA), where she led innovative communication strategies and boosted the Chamber’s visibility through regular publications and strategic engagements.
Her elevation to the national executive level of NACCIMA is being seen by stakeholders as a well-earned recognition of her commitment to service, professionalism, and innovative thinking.
Under the leadership of Engr Ibrahim, Mrs Adigun-Oladotun is expected to play a pivotal role in advancing NACCIMA’s public engagement agenda and fostering stronger ties with economic players within and beyond Nigeria.
