Azeezat Q. Ibrahim, an experienced human resource professional in higher education is a 2003 Economics graduate of the University of Ilorin. Having graduated with a second class upper division, she enrolled for a Master Degree at the University of Ibadan and was awarded the degree on June 29, 2007. She focuses on Labor Economics and Economics of Education. Her research interests include human capital development, private and social return on education. Azeezat joined the services of University of Ilorin as an Administrative Assistant on April 27, 2006. She rose through the ranks to become a Principal Assistant Registrar in 2020.
Having served meritoriously in the Directorate of Human Resources where she was head of the senior staff unit overseeing recruitment, promotion, discipline, records, training and development, she was a University merit award recipient during the convocation ceremonies of 2017.
She was deployed to the Faculty of Environmental Sciences in July, 2018 as the fourth Faculty Officer of the fledging faculty of 5 academic departments, about 1200 students and 90 staff. The faculty awarded her a certificate of commendation in recognition of her outstanding administrative support during the 1st International Conference of Environmental Sciences (ICES) organized by the Faculty in April, 2019.
Her contributions in the fledging faculty was appreciated and in January 2020, she was redeployed to one of the foundation faculties established in 1978; the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. The faculty has 10 academic departments and a supporting unit- Central Engineering Workshop, Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas Engineering Research Center (NLNG- ERC) and Tertiary Education Fund Engineering Research Laboratory (TETFUND- ERL).
Azeezat currently manages a student population of over 3000 and 245 staff comprising 127 academic staff, 76 Technologists and Technical staff and 42 Registry staff.
As a full member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) and a licensed Human Resource professional, Azeezat always bring her professional knowledge and expertise to the fore by assisting the Dean in the day to day administration of the Faculty.
She gives reliable information and data for decision making, records accurate decisions during meetings and renders coordinated services towards the achievement of the University’s mission and vision.

Azeezat is a member of Association of Professional University Administrators (ANUPA) and is currently the Secretary of the Kwara State Branch of CIPM. She has attended many conferences and seminars. With sponsorship from TETfund, she was able to attend the Leadership in Higher Education conference held in Missouri, United States of America in October, 2019.
