Dr. Adeniyi is a Senior lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria. He is interested in process and product development with a focus on computer-aided modelling and the optimisation of chemical process systems, biofuel production, and solid waste recycling.
He has contributed significantly and has published over a hundred articles on product and process development in reputable outlets (citations 575, h-index 14 and i10-index 21).to advance the scientific knowledge in these fields. Two (2) Patents had been achieved on the development of Wood Plastic Composites and Ballistic Composites respectively. Presently, the patent on Ballistic Composite is being developed for the usage of Nigeria Army.

His teaching experience is within the wide areas of Chemical Engineering subfields including: Process Instrumentation; Process Optimisation; Transport Phenomena and other Mathematical Areas of Process Engineering.
