Mustapha to deliver lecture on Artificial Intelligence at Abdulbaqi’s birthday bash

The Director of the General Studies Unit (GNS), University of Ilorin, Prof. Lambe Kayode Mustapha, will on Sunday, January 18, 2026,  deliver a lecture, titled “The Future of Kwara Youth in Leveraging AI as a Problem-Solving Tool”

The event is part of the  media outreach programmes lined up to mark the 59th birthday of the Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Information Sciences (CIS), University of Ilorin, Prof. Saudat Salah Abdulbaqi.

According to a notification message made available to UNILORIN Bulletin, the lecture will hold at the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), National Library Complex, Offa Road, Kwara State, between 4:00 and 6:00 pm.

Also expected to deliver a lecture at the event is the Honourable Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Kwara State, Mrs Sa’adat Modibbo Kawu.

Members of the University Community and the general public are cordially invited.
