The Chairman of the University of Ilorin Golden Jubilee Planning Committee, Prof. Olugbenga Ayodeji Mokuolu, has commended the professionalism and hardwork of a Deputy Director (Protocol) in the Directorate of Corporate Affairs, Mr Olusegun Alabi.

Prof. Mokuolu gave this commendation last Thursday (October 29, 2025) while speaking at a meeting of the Committee held at the Conference Room of the Academic Planning Unit.

The renowned medical scholar explained that the performances of Mr Alabi throughout the 40th Convocation Ceremonies of the University were simply exciting and outstanding.

Prof. Mokuolu remarked that the flawless way Mr Alabi discharged his responsibilities, particularly regaling the audience with significant episodes in the annals of the University with ease is making him a walking custodian of the history of the University.

The Chairman urged him to continue to work hard, saying that if he continues to excel he would sooner than later become indispensable in the services of the University.
