TETFund Intervention for ICT Support

The University of Ilorin has successfully implemented the 2021–2023 TETFund ICT Support Intervention Projects, aimed at strengthening digital capacity, infrastructure, and training for staff and students. These projects have been completed and continue to enhance teaching, research, and administrative efficiency.

Key ICT Intervention Highlights

1. Hardware Procurement

  • Acquisition of 30 HP Intel Core i3 laptops to support ICT operations.

2. Custom Software Solutions

  • Development and deployment of Administrative Software (e-ticketing & e-transcript system).
  • Cloud hosting and integration for improved accessibility.
  • Cloudflare integration for security and performance.
  • Training of 10 ICT staff (5-day physical + online sessions).

3. Licenses and Renewals

  • Microsoft Office 365 Enterprise licenses for 150 users.

4. ATC Establishment (Accredited Test Centre)

  • Procurement of ICT teaching and presentation tools (Smart Projectors, Lecterns, Microphones, Speakers).
  • Development of a dedicated ATC Website for training registration and tracking.
  • Branding materials: Roll-up banners and stands.

5. ICDL Certification

  • Provision of 150 ICDL Candidate Registration Numbers (CRNs) for digital literacy certification.

6. ATC Train-the-Trainer (TTT)

  • Training of 6 participants in a 4-day specialized program on Accredited Test Centre operations.

7. Converged Services

  • Capacity development and Blackboard Train-the-Trainer program for e-learning integration.

Total Project Cost: ₦97,883,731.43
Status: All projects completed successfully.
