The University of Ilorin has received a Wall Chart designed by industry experts in Technical Education through the Indian Ministry of Skills Development and Entrepreneurship.

Receiving the Wall Chart from the Facilitator of the donation and Desk Officer of the Association of West African Universities (AWAU), Dr Habibat Yusuf, in his office, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, appreciated the gesture and commended Dr Yusuf for her efforts in facilitating the donation for the University.

The Wall Chart, which aims at equipping Engineering students with the practical skills required in the industry, was later presented to the Dean of Engineering and Technology, Prof. Jamiu Odusote

In a chat with UNILORIN Bulletin, the Facilitator of the donation, Dr Habibat Yusuf, stated that this initiative follows a training sponsored by the Indian Government and facilitated by the Centre for International Education (CIE), University of Ilorin, on Strengthening Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET).

The training, which took place from January 20th to February 18th, 2025, at the National Institute of Technical Teacher Training and Research, Chennai, India, focused on attaining the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.
