The Management of the University of Ilorin under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor, Prof Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, has congratulated Dr Ruth A. Adimula of the Centre for Peace and Strategic Studies (CPSS) on her appointment as Tax Appeal Tribunal Commissioner, Lagos Panel II by the Federal Ministry of Finance and Coordinating Ministry of Economy, Abuja.

A memo signed by the Registrar, Mr Mansur Adeleke Alfanla, a copy of which was made available to UNILORIN Bulletin last Wednesday (February 13, 2025), revealed that Dr Adimula’s appointment was well deserved.

Mr Alfanla noted that “this prestigious appointment is a testament to your expertise, exceptional dedication and contributions to the adjudication of tax disputes as well as other related matters”.

He added that the appointment is indeed a mark of honour, which is a testament to her sterling leadership qualities and a reward for her commitment and integrity in the service of humanity.

The Registrar stated that “the University management acknowledges the significance of your role and is confident that your wealth of knowledge and experience will greatly benefit the tribunal.

He added that it is hoped that “you will do the University proud in your new role and looks forward to your impactful contributions.”
