Amoo inaugurates Library Science Dept. Solar Inverter

The Director of Works, University of Ilorin, Mr Ramoni Kolawole Amoo, last Thursday (March 26, 2026) inaugurated a 5kva solar-powered inverter procured for the institution’s Department of Library and Information Sciences.
Performing the inauguration, the Director said that the facility was provided to enhance the service delivery of the Department and the University at large.
Mr Amoo, who was represented by Mr Obafemi Oluwatosin Adekunle, encouraged the Department to make effective use of the facility for the purpose intended as he also urged stakeholders to make proper use of it so that it would endure..
Responding, the Head of the Department, Dr M. T. Bashorun thanked the University management for the consistent support enjoyed by the Department.
The event was witnessed by the Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Information Sciences, University of Ilorin, Prof. Saudat Salah Abdulbaqi; and the Director of Physical Planning Unit, University of Ilorin, Mr AbdulRahman Toyin Jimoh; who was represented by Mr Tunde Ogundeji, among several others.
