The mother of Engr Ramoni Kolawole Amoo, the Director of Works, University of Ilorin, Hajia Silifat Amoo, has passed on.

A statement from the family said that Hajia Amoo died on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the age of 85.

The statement described the late matriarch as a caring, loving, and passionate mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose passing is mourned by all who knew her.

The late Hajia Amoo, whose remains had been buried according to Islamic rites at Ede, Osun State, is survived by many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
