The Registrar of the University of Ilorin, Mr Mansur Adeleke Alfanla, has lauded the outstanding dedication, diligence, and hard work of Ms Adeola Eletta, an IT Officer in the Directorate of Human Resources, describing her as a “pride of the University.”
Mr Alfanla gave the commendation during a surprise birthday celebration held in his office for the IT Officer penultimate Friday (August 1, 2025).
The Registrar highlighted Ms Eletta’s ability to perform her duties discretely when necessary, further emphasising her valuable contributions to the institution.
Mr Alfanla expressed admiration for the IT Officer’s sterling work ethic and invaluable contributions in the Registrar’s Office.
The Registrar, a strong believer in recognising and celebrating the achievements of his staff, said he understands that motivating and appreciating the workforce is essential for the smooth running of the University.
On his part, Mr Abubakar Ayoku, the Secretary of the Registrar’s Office, echoed Mr Alfanla’s sentiments, applauding Ms Eletta’s fervour in carrying out her responsibilities. He particularly highlighted her amiable rapport with her colleagues.
Other staff members, including Mrs Sherifat Saka-Lawal, Mrs Zainab Salawu, amongst others, also joined in praising Ms Eletta for her industriousness and compassionate nature.
In her response, Ms Eletta, a Chief System Analyst in the Directorate of Computer Services and Information Technology (COMSIT), expressed gratitude to the staff of the Registrar’s Office for the prayers and well wishes showered on her. She commended the Registrar for his exemplary leadership and expressed appreciation for the unwavering support of all.
