UNILORIN Pharmaceutical Sciences holds drug discovery lecture

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Ilorin, will today, Monday, September 28, 2026 host a public lecture on New Approach Modalities (NAMs) in Drug Discovery and Development.

The event, themed “Opportunities and Challenges for Pharmaceutical Research in Nigeria,” will begin at 11:00 am at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science Lecture Theatre.

The lecture will be delivered by Prof. Olumayokun Olajide of the School of Applied Sciences, University of Huddersfield, United Kingdom.

The Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Abdulganiyu Giwa, will be the Host, while the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, will serve as the Chief  Host.

Members of the University community and the general public are cordially invited.
