Durowade loses mom

The death has been announced of Alhaja  Rafat Ojuolape. The deceased, who was the mother of a Deputy Bursar at the Revenue Unit of the Bursary Department, University of Ilorin, Mrs Bidemi Durowade, died last Wednesday (August 19, 2026, after a brief illness.

The late Alhaja Ojuolape, a seasoned health care provider, retired from the services of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Ilorin, as an Assistant Director of Nursing Services.

The remains of the late Alhaja Ojuolape was committed to the mother earth in accordance to Islamic rites on the same day after a Janazah prayer held in her honour at the Ansarudeen Mosque, Off Taiwo Road, Ilorin.

Until her death, Alhaja Ojuolape was a prominent community leader and committed member of the Ilorin Branch of the Ansarudeen Society of Nigeria.
