UNILORIN holds reception for Oloyede

All is set for a special homecoming reception being organised by the management of the University of Ilorin in honour of its 8th Vice Chancellor, Professor Emeritus Is-haq Olanrewaju Oloyede, CON, who has just concluded a ten-year tour of duty as the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). The reception is slated for this Monday (August 17, 2026).
This was contained in an Internal Memorandum dated August 11, 2026 and issued from the Office of the Vice Chancellor and sighted by UNILORIN Bulletin.
According to the memorandum, which was signed by the Deputy Registrar, Vice Chancellor Office, Mrs. Azeezat Q. Ibrahim, the programme is being organised to celebrate Prof. Emeritus Oloyede’s distinguished contributions to the University and his outstanding 10-year tenure as Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of JAMB.
The ceremony, which holds at the University Auditorium beginning from 10:00 a.m., will also feature the presentation of the Award of Excellence to some distinguished Nigerians, recognition of Distinguished Alumni and Unilorin Ambassadors, as well as an investiture ceremony for deserving individuals.
