IEMF congratulates Adeboye, Aremu on appointment

The Igbomina/Ekiti Muslim Forum (IEMF) has congratulated two distinguished sons of Igbomina extraction, Prof. M.A.N Adeboye and Dr Noah S. Aremu, on their recent appointments by the management of the University of Ilorin.
In a statement issued by the National President of the Forum, Alhaji Nasir Ibrahim, a copy of which was made available to UNILORIN Bulletin last Monday (July 20, 2026), the IEMF congratulated Prof. Adeboye on his election as Provost of the College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin, describing the development as a testament to his outstanding academic credentials, administrative experience and exemplary leadership.
The Forum noted that Prof. Adeboye has consistently demonstrated exceptional commitment, visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to the advancement of higher education. It added that his contributions to teaching, research, mentorship and academic administration have earned him the admiration of his colleagues, students and the wider community.
The Forum also congratulated Dr Aremu on his appointment as Coordinator of the Department of Employment Relations and Human Resources Management of the University , describing the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of his dedication, competence and commitment to academic excellence.
According to IEMF, the appointment of Dr Aremu reflects the confidence reposed in his leadership ability, professional competence and commitment to the development of the Department. The Forum expressed optimism that his wealth of experience and administrative skills would further strengthen the Department’s academic programmes and enhance its growth.
IEMF noted that the emergence of the two scholars reflects the values of hard work, integrity and selfless service, while inspiring younger generations to pursue excellence in their chosen careers.
The Forum prayed for continued guidance, wisdom and good health from Allah for both academics as they undertake greater responsibilities in their respective capacities.
It also expressed confidence that they would continue to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of education, scholarship and community development within their respective institutions and the nation at large.
IEMF reaffirmed its commitment to celebrating and supporting outstanding members of the Igbomina/Ekitit Muslim community whose achievements continue to bring honour and distinction to the Forum and the society at large.
