The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has approved an additional Computer-Based Test (CBT) Centre for the University of Ilorin for the 2026 Direct Entry (DE) registration exercise even as the Board extends the sale of application forms to May 8, 2026. The newly approved CBT Centre is located at Centre for Open and Distance Learning (CODL), Mini Campus.

This was disclosed in a statement made available to newsmen last Wednesday (April 29, 2026) by the Public Communication Adviser of JAMB, Dr Fabian Benjamin, who said that the approval is part of measures by the Board to decongest existing centres and improve access for prospective candidates across the country.

The statement added that the Board also approved the extension of the registration deadline to ensure that no eligible candidate is denied the opportunity to access tertiary education.

Other approved centres across the country include Bells University of Technology, Ota, Ogun State; Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State; Prof. Usman E-Learning Centre, Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo, Oyo State; and Human Development Initiatives (Grace House), Iwaya, Lagos State.

The Board added that its offices nationwide, including Professional Registration Centres (PRCs) and Professional Testing Centres (PTCs), remain open for the ongoing Direct Entry registration exercise.
