IBS set for global stage

The Director of Ilorin Business School (IBS), University of Ilorin, Prof. Ismaila Bolarinwa Kadiri, has said that the school is ready to go into the global stage.
Speaking last week (Wednesday, April 15, 2026 ) on UNILORIN FM’s ‘‘Table Talk’’, a current affairs programme jointly anchored by the General Manager of the Station, Mr Idris Akintola Ibrahim (Alooma) and the Head of Programmes Mr Temitope Olawuyi (Karikatalk), Prof. Kadiri said that the School is being positioned for international recognition.
The School, according to Prof. Kadiri, has become a hub for professionals, researchers, and industrialists where their technical know-how is improved upon.
He attributed the School’s strong progress and improved service delivery to the support of the management of the University, led by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN.
With 39 programmes currently running and more in the pipeline, Prof. Kadiri said that the school is expanding both its reach and relevance.
Prof. Kadiri, who teaches Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, outlined a clear vision for the School, saying that it was established to link academics with professional business jobs in a way that is job-specific and globally competitive.
