UNILORIN announces 2026 promotion exercise, issues application guidelines

The University of Ilorin has announced the commencement of its 2026 Promotion Exercise, with the publication of the call circular on the institution’s official website for members of the University community.

According to a notice issued penultimate Friday(March 3, 2026) by the Directorate of Human Resources, interested applicants are advised to access the promotion portal, via the official link provided by the University, to complete their applications.

The Directorate further clarified that application forms for non-teaching staff can only be accessed using official University email addresses.

It stressed that access will be denied to applicants attempting to use personal email accounts instead of their institutional email addresses.

Members of staff are, therefore, urged to comply strictly with the guidelines to ensure a smooth application process.

The University reiterated its commitment to transparency and due process in the conduct of the promotion exercise.
