Two UNILORIN dons bag AIPHP fellowship awards

Two lecturers at the Department of Health Promotion and Environmental Health Education, University of Ilorin, Dr. Adijat Mojisola Abdulraheem and Dr. Kafayah Adeola Jidda, were recently honoured with the prestigious Fellowship of the African Institute of Public Health Professionals (AIPHP).
The recognition was conveyed to the duo in a letter signed by the Registrar of the Institute, Dr Ayodele Bankole.
According to the notification made available to UNILORIN Bulletin last Wednesday (March 25, 2026), the investiture ceremony was held at the Cedi Conference Centre, Accra, Ghana.
The Fellowship award, one of the Institute’s highest distinctions, was bestowed on the duo in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the advancement and development of public health practice across Africa.
The honour underscores their commitment to excellence and their impactful roles in promoting Public Health Education and environmental well-being within and beyond the academic community.
