UNILORIN ALUMNI Spotlight is on Abdulrafiu Ayodeji Imam – Class of 2019!

Abdulrafiu Ayodeji Imam is a dedicated sociologist and public servant with a profound passion for community development, public enlightenment, and social change.

He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Ilorin in 2019 and is currently completing his Master’s degree in Sociology, specialising in Criminology. His postgraduate research is supported by a prestigious Federal Government scholarship award for the 2023–2025 academic session.

​Abdulrafiu serves as a Programme Officer at the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Kwara State Directorate, where he contributes significantly to nation-building.

His work involves leading civic engagement initiatives, public sensitisation programmes, and grassroots mobilisation efforts aimed at fostering a more informed and active citizenry.

​Throughout his academic and professional journey, Abdulrafiu has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to excellence and lifelong learning. His career reflects a unique blend of academic rigour and a deep-seated desire to make a meaningful, positive impact on society.
