ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POST OF PRINCIPAL

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the vacant post of PRINCIPALof Unilorin Secondary School.

THE SCHOOL

Unilorin Secondary School is an autonomous community service outreach venture of the University of Ilorin. The School is self-financing and governed by a Governing Board.

THE POSITION

The Principal is the Chief Executive Officer of Unilorin Secondary Schooland is responsible to the School Governing Board for the day-to-day administration and management of the School.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must not be more than 60 years of age as of the time of this advertisement and must possess SSCE/GCE (O/Level) or its equivalent with at least five (5) credits, including English Language.  In addition, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or PGDEand possess NYSC discharge Certificate/Certificate of Exemption, as well asbe a certified member of the Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).Applicants should not be below the rank of USS 13 or its equivalent.

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

The successful candidate shall hold office for a single term of four (4) years,and shall be subject to Conditions of Service of the School.
