The University of Ilorin Alumni Association, UNILORIN Branch, has expressed  appreciation to its members for their unwavering support towards the successful staging of the institution’s 50th anniversary.

In a statement signed by the Branch Chairman, Prof. Babatunde Lateef Adeleke, the Association acknowledged the enthusiasm and solidarity displayed by members during the celebration, describing it as “unprecedented”.

Prof. Adeleke said, “We greatly appreciate your effective participation at various levels despite the current economic realities.”

He implored members to sustain their spirit of solidarity and togetherness to enhance the branch’s visibility.

The Chairman commended members who worked tirelessly in mobilising support for the anniversary, citing them as shining examples to be emulated.

He said the Association is working towards invigorating its subgroups at faculties, units, and centers, and has received assistance from eminent members in this regard.

He urged members to continue to render selfless services to their alma mater, praying that the Almighty reward them abundantly.
