The Department of Criminology and Security Studies is one of the youngest Departments in the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ilorin. The Department was established in 2014 and began its academic activities in 2014/2015 academic session. Our Department is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters critical thinking, research, and community engagement. We offer undergraduate programme that equips students with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to succeed in careers related to criminology, security, and justice.
