Egbewole celebrates  NILDS’s Chief Executive @ 60

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, has congratulated the Director-General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Prof. Abubakar Olanrewaju Sulaiman, on his 60th birthday, last Thursday (October 16, 2025).

Prof. Egbewole, who was represented at the birthday ceremony held in honour of the Director-General at the NICON-NOGA Hilton Hotel, Abuja, by the immediate past Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Nimah Modupe AbdulRaheem, eulogised Prof. Sulaiman for his remarkable contributions to academia, public service, and national development.

The Vice Chancellor described Prof. Sulaiman as “a distinguished scholar, administrator, and patriot whose dedication to national service continues to inspire many.”

He commended Prof. Sulaiman, who equally served as the Minister of National Planning and Deputy Chairman of the National Planning Commission, for his exceptional leadership qualities, intellectual excellence, and unwavering commitment to advancing knowledge and good governance in Nigeria.

The Vice Chancellor prayed to Allah for continued divine blessings on Prof. Sulaiman as he wished him many more years of good health, wisdom, and impactful service to the nation and humanity.
